Interplast (Creating Smiles
and changing lives)
This programme provides the funds for West Australian
medical teams to travel overseas and operate on some of the poorest children
in the world born with cleft palates, a serious condition which does not
allow them to eat drink speak or breathe properly, plus they also suffer
from personal isolation in their community as they are so disfigured.
In the two weeks our volunteer medical teams are away they will also operate
on children suffering from disfiguring burns and other remedial complaints
The pictures will touch your heart.
